Waste Craft was initiated with the purpose of providing the students an opportunity to explore the creative process of transforming a found object or recycled material into a work of art. Through this event hidden talents among the students were identified and their creativity and originality were explored.
Their exhibits proved that even little things that we usually dispose without a second thought can be turned into something valuable. This defined the objective of the event which is “Say yes to going green and a trash free earth” to all the students of the IMS.
The participants exhibited their art work in November 2018 which attracted more than 250 students to gather at the Student Centre to appreciate the creative skills of our fellow students. Despite the close competition between the exhibits, the best art works were chosen by majority vote.
